In 2015, Evelyn started fencing in her freshman year of high school “just for fun”. Today, she fences on the Canadian Women’s Épée National Team, representing Canada at numerous World Cups, Grand Prix, and other international competitions every season. Her top achievements include an individual bronze medal in the San Jose Satellite World Cup, team gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Championships, and representing Canada at the FISU World University Games.
Evelyn graduated in 2022 from Western University, where she studied business administration at Ivey Business School. She was varsity fencing team captain from 2019 to 2022, during which she won individual golds in the Ontario University Championships, the Ontario Provincial Championships, and the Western Open, her home-soil tournament.
Evelyn has a passion for teaching kids — she has been coaching fencing since 2017, and also runs her own consulting business helping high school students select and apply to their dream university programs.
